In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of the earliest evidences of me writing songs was captured on home video when I wrote the "tamale song" at 9 years old or so. As the song goes, there were "tamales in my tummy today, tamales in my tummy tomorrow..." The rest is history. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Mayday Parade, A Lesson in Romantics Sara Bareilles, Little Voice Taylor Swift, reputation I always know I can go to any one of these three albums when I need to feel my feelings, rant about some scorned love, and find my inner femme fatale. In so many ways, these artists are the blueprint for my musical journey. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Lying” Lying is the song that started a new era of music for me. It's the first song on the album and the first song my producer and I worked on together. I think it captures the spirit of A Letting Go, and I'm so proud this project started here.
