Bill Withers, Bill Withers Live at Carnegie Hall John Prine, John Prine Marvin Gaye, What's Going On "'What's Going On' for its brilliant arrangements and social impact. Prine's self-titled for its huge ideas hidden in colloquial lyrics. Withers' 'Live at Carnegie' for the best example of how to communicate raw emotion through a pop song."
