A consummate folk singer and tunesmith from the East Coast, Greg Greenway has a knack for pairing thoughtful human-driven narratives with engaging melodies in a variety of styles ranging from socially conscious protest music to earthy, globally inspired arrangements. After coming up through Boston's culturally rich folk scene, he established himself as a mainstay of the New England music circuit during the 1990s and 2000s, releasing numerous solo albums before forming the harmony trio Brother Sun in 2011. Greenway has continued to involve himself in interesting projects, and after issuing 2016's eclectic 20,000 Versions of the Sun, he formed a duo with fellow folk stalwart and educator Reggie Harris called Deeper Than the Skin.
