Grand Theft Audio

Grand Theft Audio is vocalist Jay Butler, guitarist Chris McCormack, bassist/keyboardist Ralph Jezzard, and drummer Ritch Battersby. This London quartet came together in friendship and from the remains of former bands as McCormack had been the guitarist for 3 Colours Red and Jezzard and Battersby worked together in the Wildhearts. Musically, the band twists alternative rock into a blistering crank of punk metal and swallowing electronic hip-hop. Their riveting sound has been compared to the likes of the Sex Pistols, AC/DC, and Prodigy. They released their debut album, Blame Everyone, in September 2000. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
