In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. New Year’s 2000, riding with my aunt when Stairway to Heaven hit the radio. She cranked it and said, “This is the greatest song ever.” I hadn’t heard much rock before that moment. It lit a fire in me that never went out. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Homework Johnny Cash, At Folsom Prison Live Metallica, Ride the Lightning (Remastered) 2016 Remastered Version The first record that hit me was Johnny Cash Live at Folsom Prison. The first riff I learned was For Whom the Bell Tolls. Da Funk will always be one of my all-time favorites, that riff sparks a deep nostalgia that never fades. It stuck with me and grew as I did. The main line comes from a heavier, more intricate rock track, but I rebuilt it here as a remix, a way to honour one of my biggest influences, Daft Punk.
