Gold Up

Canadian DJ and production duo Gold Up mix elements of dancehall, Afrobeats, and reggaeton into their music, and they also fold in a variety of Jamaican artists to provide the vocals for their music. Their debut single, "Belong with Me," dropped in 2018, boasting a collaboration with Shenseea. Their vision was better displayed on their 2020 debut album, Prelude, which featured artists from Jamaica, Canada, Trinidad, and Ghana. A second LP, 2022's Introduction, featured a plethora of big-name collaborators including Wale, Elephant Man, and Beenie Man.
