In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Some of my first memories are of writing songs. I sang on the school bus, wrote lyrics in class and when I got home, I would try to think of creative ways to record myself. I'd often put my head in the dryer with the field recorder to add reverb. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Radiohead, The Bends Sam Phillips, Fan Dance The Innocence Mission, Birds of My Neighborhood My favorite albums change often, so I chose the three of these because the songwriting on all of these influenced the way I approached my writing when I started making my own records. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “It's an Art” It's an Art was inspired by the sci-fi TV show Fringe. I later realized it was about me, too. The character Olivia could see glimmers of an alternate universe, and I wrote 'my eyes meet yours and the world shifts' with those scenes in mind.
