About Georgia Mancio

A jazz singer with a smooth, lithe quality to her voice, Georgia Mancio started her career singing standards, but ventured into various songwriting partnerships beginning in the early 2000s. Her debut album, 2003's Peaceful Place, included her first original song (a collaboration with composer Tim Lapthorn) alongside a mix of standards and original tunes. She continued the practice on subsequent albums, including the multi-lingual Trapeze (2008) and live release Live at ReVoice! (2015). Her first set of all-original songs arrived in 2017 in the form of her fifth studio album, Songbook. She later re-teamed with the album's co-writer, Alan Broadbent, for 2021's Quiet Is the Star.
