About Gavin Adcock
Country singer Gavin Adcock churns out rowdy anthems and brokenhearted ballads rooted in small-town Georgia life. Born in 1998, Adcock initially dedicated his youth to football, eventually playing for Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. But when the coaching staff forced him to choose between athletics and his budding music career at the start of the 2021 season, he defiantly picked up his guitar and walked off the field. Adcock’s instincts were proven right. His live shows, famous for their party atmosphere and sweaty sing-alongs, consistently sell out across the South. Meanwhile, independently released singles like the hard-rocking “Deep End” and “Ain’t No Cure” have racked up millions of streams thanks to their depictions of wild nights and groggy mornings. A major milestone in his career arrived in the form of 2023’s viral sensation “A Cigarette.” It’s classic Adcock: bursting with outlaw attitude yet also showing off the songwriter’s gift for no-frills lyrics that feel like a close friend struggling to get something off his chest.
