In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first memory of music is listening to Prince in my Dad’s car on the way to school, my teacher actually sent a note home with me one day because I wouldn’t stop singing Sexyyy Motha F*cka in class. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Daft Punk, Random Access Memories Magdalena Bay, Imaginal Disk Tame Impala, Currents Currents for when I was learning how to produce, I love the synths. Imaginal Disk is super cutting-edge and a great listen from start to finish. RAM was one of the first “Electronic” albums I ever heard and made 13 year old me really rethink music. Tell us why you chose this song. “Happy to Pretend” A song of ours that I feel is really special is “Happy to Pretend” it was the first song we ever had featured on an Apple Music playlist and has opened up a lot of doors for us as a band! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments for me has been playing The Troubadour is LA, you can really feel the history in that room and was a huge bucket list item for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The is SO much left on our bucket list, but a big thing that comes to mind is playing Lollapalooza or Coachella. Also we are very excited for the day that we get to tour in Europe, Australia and Asia!
