In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. After discovering the guitar at the age of 10, I started my first composition in 1976 and founded the band Abelys with Gabriel Joseph-Dezaize alias 'Gaby'. The fruit of this long friendship, my 3rd album signed with ‘Gaby’ is called ABELYS. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Josélito Atchade)” This sweet ballad against all violence brings a pleasant feeling of well-being. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I met bassist Ivano Bass and drummer Amadi Nkurikiye in 2012 and we decided to create Ibirori Jazz Band and then to record in 2015 the album "TWESE... de lait et de miel" A moment of happiness in the midst of the Burundian crisis. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Already a personal project of an album with bluesy songs and some groove with FAT Trio (album AZIZA) to continue the story.
