In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Music is one of the things that keeps us going in Nigeria. Where I'm from, you would always find a group of people freestyling in almost every corner. I joined a group of people one day and I kept going beat after beat. I earned my respect that day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burna Boy, Twice As Tall J. Cole, KOD Wizkid, Superstar Each album has played major roles in my life and also influenced my music. I would plug my headphones and listen to them on repeat and all my problems would just go away. I'm happy I can always listen to these albums on Apple Music with no stress. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pass Dem [feat. Ayomiideboy] (Sax Version)” I was studying in China far from home, far from my family and friends when the pandemic hits. My family sent me some words of encouragement to keep me going through the pandemic so I took those words and turned them into a song to help me and others. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I recorded my first song in high school, sent it to a couple of friends since I had no clue how to distribute music. I was walking home from school one day when someone screamed my name and said "Look, I'm listening to your song". I was super happy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? YES. Inspire people with my music. I want to see my face on Apple Music Africa Now and other major Apple Music playlists. Travel around the world doing what I love most.
