In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I vividly remember sitting down in my Dad's living room chair, browsing his vinyl collection and picking out a record called 'Dark Side of the Moon'. It had a cool cover, I had no idea who the band were. When 'Breathe' kicked in... life changing. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Radiohead, Kid A Tears for Fears, Elemental XTC, Nonsuch 'Nonsuch' by XTC: The album where I found my favourite band, XTC. 'Elemental' by Tears for Fears: Hugely underrated, one of my favourite sounding records. 'Kid A' by Radiohead: The album I've heard a billion times and yet still find something new. Tell us why you chose this song. “A Thousand Tiny Cuts (Mikko Gordon Single Mix)” Inspired by the Hanya Yanagihara novel 'A Little Life', the song is about self-harm, and the power of a strong relationship to overcome any hurdles. I'm immensely proud of it and am continually touched by the feedback I receive from this song. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? In September 2022 I was very lucky to support Turin Brakes across 8 dates of their UK tour. A band whose albums have soundtracked much of my life, I'm a huge fan so it was a surreal dream to play those shows with them. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is forever being added to! Right now, I'm working on my debut album and just want to make that the best it can possibly be. I want to continue to improve as a songwriter. I want to make more records.
