In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember discovering R&B music at a young age around my older family members and not only falling in love with the harmonies and vocal arrangements but also the instrumentation and acoustics. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chloe x Halle, Ungodly Hour Eric Bellinger, The Rebirth 2 Snoop Dogg, Snoop Dogg Presents Algorithm The old school and new school artists mixed along with the R&B melodies/flavor and HipHop bass makes this albums great! And I love how the artist aren’t afraid to show their personalities through the music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Slow It Down” This song is special to me because it made me realize a lot of personal things, good and bad that I wanted to work on. It gave me a sense of self love and worth and that eventually turned into finally finding my sound as a artist! What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I went to Brooklyn NY 8 times in one year, came back home to Detroit broke every time but I also gained a since of style as an artist, I networked with alot of amazing people and went through alot of trails that transformed into great music! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To be able to give my city “Detroit” and the minorities and artists here a sense of creative freedom again! We are Motown and we forget that alot by not supporting and giving opportunities for artists to grow and I want to be able to do that!
