In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was a beautiful day in New Jersey and my dad took me for a car ride. I was so young. With the windows down, he hopped between CDs - R.E.M., Sheryl Crow's Tuesday Night Music Club, and Pearl Jam. I never felt so limitless. That was the start. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head John Mayer, Continuum Stevie Ray Vaughan & Double Trouble, Texas Flood I used to blast Warning Sign in my car and stare into the stars. Continuum taught me about truly fantastic songwriting. And Texas Flood - that's just a pure, visceral, cocaine-fueled rollercoaster of a performance. Nostalgia, soul, and freedom. During Covid, I realized it was time to do what I set out to when I was a kid. No more regretting. "Two Steps" is soulful, but like an angry freight train. I love it.
