In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember begging my parents to let me start playing piano at the age of 7. By the time I was 10, I was writing my own songs and recording them to create my own albums. The subject matter was much tamer though - tractors, llamas, Pizza Hut, etc. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Sugar & Ice” Sugar & Ice was inspired by a line in a poem, 'sweet as sugar, cold as ice', and that line really resonated with me. It seemed like such a true description of how the anorexic voice treats its victims: sweet and caring, but also cold and vindictive. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I will always recall sitting in my friend's living room and seeing Innermost Nervosa go live on iTunes for the first time. It marked the day that I felt like a real musician, and encouraged me to start working on what would become Dark Descent. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To perform my music live! I've never performed my music in front of an audience before, it's something I've always wanted to do.
