About Elsa Lunghini

French singer/actor Elsa Lunghini made her big-screen debut at age seven in Garde à Vue (1981) and became a star with her role in the César-winning La Femme de Ma Vie (1986). Her performance of the theme song, "T'en Va Pas," topped the French singles chart. A Top Ten hit on the French albums chart, the following Elsa (1988) spawned a series of major hit singles. Elsa began writing her own lyrics for Chaque Jour Est un Long Chemin (1996), but the album also marked a sharp downturn in her popularity. Successive album releases include De Lave et de Sève (2004) and Elsa Lunghini (2008). ~ Jason Birchmeier
