In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my earliest musical memories was when I was cast as little orphan Annie. I recall having a mic taped to my face and singing from a large set of constructed stairs under the blue lights of the stage. I have always loved performing theatres. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Brasstronaut, Brasstronaut Keaton Henson, Birthdays Deluxe Version Moderat, Moderat (Deluxe Version) Brasstronaut because I love the instrumentation and sculpting of the sounds in "Hawk". Moderat because the music makes me feel light and inspired to fare forth through life. Birthdays because it is so beautifully sad. Tell us why you chose this song. “Spirit Seekers” A commission to compose the theme music for a haunted TV series inspired me to write “Spirit Seekers.” This track includes droning bass, waves of crackles and my signature soprano vocal range in a dark downtempo styling. 🌔 What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable moments in my career so far was playing for Jeux Franco-Canadiens du Nord et de l'Ouest backed Etienne Fletcher and his band. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to open up for Klô Pelgag, Regina Spektor, Dan Mangan and Patrick Watson. Touring through French speaking European countries is also on the bucket list.
