Eefje de Visser

Dutch singer and songwriter Eefje de Visser infuses her ethereal, introspective alt-pop with folk, psychedelia, and ambiance. After the cracking the Top 40 in the Netherlands with her 2011 debut album De Koek, she followed up with a string of Top Ten LPs, including 2013's Het Is and 2020's Bitterzoet. Meanwhile, she expanded her sound, from the blend of acoustic folk, electronic atmospheres, and occasional beats of her early releases to the more club-leaning territory of the latter album. De Visser promised to continue exploring the intersection of dreamy pop, closing-time club music, and folk with the release of singles like "Heimwee" and "Gloeien" from her fifth studio album, 2024's Heimwee.
