In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We had a piano in the house and I remember sitting down at the piano at the age of three. I had no training, but I immediately just started hitting the notes, creating melodies and singing and coming up with songs. I was mesmerized by the sound. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Beck, Sea Change Radiohead, OK Computer Tom Petty, Wildflowers It's always about the songs for me and the clarity of production. All of these records have breathtaking vocal performances, clear intention and the recordings are deep and rich. Some of the greatest songs I have ever heard reside on these albums. Tell us why you chose this song. “Animals (Remix)” I wrote this song during a pretty chaotic time here in Los Angeles. From the protests, to the wildfires and of course, Covid, I felt a deep level of anxiety in the air. From that head space, came one of my favorite songs about human nature.
