About Duncan Earl Walters

Country singer/songwriter Duncan Earl Walters was born in Circleville, OH, but grew up in Williamstown, MA, where he began playing the guitar in grammar school. He turned professional after high school, playing along the East Coast for five years, then gave up music to go back to college, get married, start a family, and work day jobs. Years later, a Doc Watson show inspired him to return to his love of performing music. He wrote a batch of songs and recorded them for his debut album, Northern Rain (2003). Four years later came his sophomore effort, Guardian, released August 21, 2007, on Spent Round Records. ~ William Ruhlmann
