One of my earliest memories is hearing New Order's True Faith and the opening drums and Sumner's vocals that were probably how Mick Jagger sounded in his day. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lana Del Rey, Born to Die (Deluxe Version) M83, Before the Dawn Heals Us Portishead, Dummy Dummy opened the possibilities of using samples in music live. Before The Dawn reinforced the importance of drums and my love of synths, while Born To Die has the most beautiful vocal melodies. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “The World's a Spy” The simple piano line compliments the vocal melody. I decided on the second album to reduce the number of tracks I was using as much as possible. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the most memorable part as been playing festivals and reaching more people as well as the tinies shows with just a few people. I still hear from people from both settings today. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I hope to keep reaching more people and filling a niche in their music collection. I want to provide for others what bands like The Bunnymen, Mary Chain, UNKLE, Lana Del Rey and Harold Budd have for me. And maybe finally become truly derivative.
