In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Dosey grew up in the Bay Area watching live music from the day he was born. With both his parents playing in rock bands before that through his early childhood accompanied by a house full of instruments, musical memories occupy the majority. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Myself” Dosey wrote Love Myself about the cyclical nature of heartbreak & love. Attempting to navigate through intense emotion and ultimately realising that without loving yourself first you will never be able to fulfil someone else. Nor should you want to. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Being able to play live and have multiple generations of your family present means more than words or music could ever describe. Playing live in Los Angeles and the Bay Area hits particularly hard without a doubt. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Travelling with music has always been the dream for Dosey so to play live in as many countries as possible will always be on top of the list.
