Jesse Kanda is best known for his mind-bending Chris Cunningham-like music videos and album artwork for boundary-pushing artists such as Arca, Björk, FKA twigs, and Barbara Panther. As Doon Kanda, he makes similarly trippy electronic music that falls somewhere between the hazy experimental techno of Actress and the smudged, fluid textures of Arca. Hyperdub issued Doon Kanda's debut EP, Heart, in early 2017, followed a year later by the Luna EP. He made his full-length debut in 2019 with Labyrinth. ~ Paul Simpson
