Known as "the coolest DJ in the world," DJ Esco went from being a tastemaking Atlanta strip club DJ to producing tracks for some of the biggest names in hip-hop. • The Atlanta native got his start DJing at the infamous local strip club Magic City. He soon became so influential that he could make artists’ careers simply by playing them at the club. • DJ Esco met Future at Magic City in 2008. He became the rapper’s full-time DJ and de facto A&R representative for his various projects. • In 2015, DJ Esco released the 56 Nights mixtape, hosted by Future and produced by 808 Mafia. The tape’s title references the eight weeks DJ Esco spent in a Dubai jail after being caught with 15 grams of marijuana in 2014. • Esco served as executive producer on Future’s 2017 albums Future and Hndrxx, both of which reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200. • His 2018 debut album, Kolorblind, features guests like Nas, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Young Thug, and Future.
