About Detroit L-O

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. One of my first artist showcases I did with my team back in 2012, we passed out our mixtapes and after the show was over we found most of the copies on the ground in the parking lot. We knew it was part of the game. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Detroit L-O, Algiers Motel Detroit L-O, Solitaire Summer Detroit L-O, Sunroof Symphony Algiers Motel was my most acclaimed project from my peers with 31 tracks. Sunroof Symphony gave a tropical, ballroom type of vibe like no other has done it. Solitaire Summer is #1 for me because I dug deep into the emotions and still kept it player! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Stay Out the Way Friday” Every Friday folks make it a must to repeat the never ending cycle. Instead of engaging in the same frivolous activities, I'd rather stay out of the way while I work on improving my well-being. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The Algiers Motel concert. A ton of loved ones were in attendance and the show was an overall success. I gave other artist an opportunity to rock the mic as well. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To work with legends such as DJ Quik, Dr. Dre, Eminem, etc. And to connect with more current artists in my genre field such as Larry June, Curren$y, Payroll Giovanni, etc. The Goal is to go down as one of the greatest lyricist to touch a microphone.
