In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My first favorite song was Walkin' on the Sun by Smash Mouth. However, being the son of a guitarist, I grew up with Les Pauls and Marshalls in the house. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Harper, Fight for Your Mind John Prine, The Missing Years Marcy Playground, Marcy Playground These albums shaped my identity as a songwriter, but in some real sense I found myself within these records. I think this happens to a varying degree anytime that I find something I like, but these are the bedrock that my own foundation is built on. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Howlin' Wolf” This song first came about as an idea around 2008. As I was preparing for my first solo release in 2021, it felt fitting that this song not only be included, but be the opening track. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While not solo endeavors, the 'greatest' moment of my career has to be either opening for Mad Conductor, or performing at the legendary Toad's Place in New Haven, CT. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have albums to make, tours to go on, and much more to do. It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll!
