In 2019, while training for preseason with Tulsa Roughnecks in Oklahoma, Deo was also gaining a fanbase through his YouTube blogs. Drake, More Life Fela Kuti, Beasts of No Nation - EP Kanye West, The Life of Pablo Deo never get tired of listening to The life of Pablo and More life these two albums resonate with him. Tell us why you chose this song. “Italawa (Kalakuta)” After COVID-19, Deo coined "ITALAWA" in response to the global "WE OUTSIDE" trend. In Yoruba, ITA means OUTSIDE and LAWA means WE ARE. Despite it's popularity in the African music industry, no artist has credited Deo as the originator. "ITA LASHIWA" What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The first time Deo performed at The Fillmore in Silverspring Maryland, He opened for Burna Boy in 2019. After that performance, he knew Entertainment was his calling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Deo is patiently waiting for the day he will headline a sold out show. Performing at the biggest arena's in the world is one of his bucket list also winning grammy and oscar award which i know is very possible.
