In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. It was evening, August 2016, and I had finished up the final touches on mastering a cover of "Purple Rain" which was to be on my first record "Smile." Upon finishing, I ran out of the room, screaming excitedly, eventually running back to burn CDs. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ben Rector, The Joy of Music Carly Rae Jepsen, E•MO•TION Stevie Wonder, Songs in the Key of Life Three incredible records! Songs In The Key Of Life is in my opinion the greatest album of all time. Emotion is pop perfection - every hook is memorable and brilliantly crafted. The Joy Of Music is a great reminder of everything I love about music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “alright” A soulful number written about the 21st century high school experience, "alright" has resonated with many of my fans for its earnest lyrics and retro instrumental. It fits beautifully on the new record, and it's one of my favorites that I've written. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My 2023 Hungerthon concert, which raised over 1,000 dollars for WhyHunger, was my most successful concert to date, with a packed venue and a very polished set list working to create an incredible live show for both the audience and for me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? The more people I can reach with this music, the more lives I can touch, and the more I can grow the better.
