I remember sitting on the shag carpet of our living room, listening to records and reel to reel tapes with my Dad, a broad list of genres, from Slim Whitman, to Elvis, Boston Pops Orchestra, Sons of the Pioneers, Merle Haggard to the The Ventures. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jerry Jeff Walker, Viva Terlingua (Live) Jimmy Buffett, Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes Ultmate Master Disk Gold CD Reissue Townes Van Zandt, Live at the Old Quarter, Houston, Texas "Viva Terlingua" was my introduction to "Texas Music" or what would become red dirt. Buffet sparked a love for the sea in me. Townes introduced be to the country blues and how sad songs can make you feel not so quite alone. Tell us why you chose this song. “About Last Night” I wrote this song during a morning of regret after a night of arguing and verbal jousting. I think this was the point I realized I needed to make some changes in myself, to become less angry at the world and less angry with myself. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I don't have a single most memorable moment. Thinking back on all of the festivals and events I've played, the song swaps, with so many talented performers and writers makes me happy. I am thankful to have met so many wonderful people through music. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A bucket list is to check off all I want to do before I kick it. So, I'd like to write one more good song. If I accomplish that, scratch it off the list and add, "write one more good song" More importantly I want to grow to be the best version of me.
