Dead Red

The band Dead Red originally formed in a tiny Newfoundland town performing wherever they could and living the rock & roll lifestyle as much as they could. After realizing that a bigger area was needed to continue, the group relocated to Halifax, Nova Scotia. In 2000, the group went into the studio to produce their debut effort. The result was Static, which was released on Ready Steady Records. The band has performed at various musical showcases and festivals in Canada and particularly the Maritime provinces. The group has also opened up for Nomeansno, Gob, and Groovie Ghoulies. ~ Jason MacNeil
