About David Garza

Davíd Garza is a prolific Texas-born singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose career has spanned multiple genres and expanded into production, film composition, and session work. Originating out of Austin's burgeoning early-'90s indie rock scene, he had numerous D.I.Y. releases to his credit by the time he signed with a major and issued 1998's This Euphoria. That album and its 2001 follow-up, Overdub, helped earn him a more widespread international audience, which he continued to nurture as an independent artist. Garza also worked as a session musician with acts like Alejandro Escovedo, John Legend, and Hanson, eventually branching out into production and film scoring. In 2020, Garza co-produced and designed the cover for Fiona Apple's Grammy-winning album Fetch the Bolt Cutters and went on to work with diverse acts ranging from Midland to Ozomatli. Launched in 2024, Lost & Found: 2004-2025 was an exhaustive, career-spanning project that celebrated his solo catalog.
