One of my earliest musical memories would be around the age of 8 or 9 watching my Mum do chores around the house while listening to Jim Reeves. He's one of the reasons I knew I'd make music because my Mum was the happiest when his records came on. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Drake, So Far Gone Gracie Abrams, minor J. Cole, 2014 Forest Hills Drive I love the 'Minor' EP from for its cutting, confessional lyrics. Drake's 'So Far Gone' is unquestionably one of the most cohesive hip-hop records of his career. And J. Cole's 'Forest Hills Drive' is a masterpiece from production to the lyricism. Mannie Akumba)” 'The Wire' gets its title from Kanye's 'Through The Wire' as I was also involved in a car crash in November of 2022, and I had my jaw wired shut for about 2 weeks. I wrote this song while in recovery as a reminder that each day is a blessing.
