In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is hearing my papa sing his own songs with his guitar. He was singing his heart out in English with this sometimes funny dutch accent but the melodies and chords were just beautiful. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? D'Angelo, Voodoo Little Simz, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert Marvin Gaye, What's Going On What's Going On is timeless and unfortunately still relevant, ahead of it's time. Voodoo changed the world of soul music forever with it's drunk funk feel. And Little Simz right now is doing the most interesting and exciting stuff around. Seeing the good in people instead of the bad. I hope it inspires people to be better human beings. But it has to happen to you first. It's like passing on positive vibes. Give someone a compliment, a smile. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Supporting PJ Morton in Dublin was wild. We got a 5 second soundcheck but I didn't care. I was just happy to share the stage with such a talented dude. We did a stripped back set with no drums and hopefully set the tone for some good soulful vibes Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? If I'm making music, I'm happy. Everything else is just a bonus
