In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I played saxophone in middle school jazz band. My 1st year of high school I was supposed to audition for band. I remember standing at the door, about to go in, but deciding to not. I always felt that this moment changed the course of my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Phoria, Volition Ramsey, The Art of Survival Sade, Stronger Than Pride Volition gives you a little bit of everything and makes it all seem seamless. Ramsey's voice is a mix of whiskey, honey, and pure sin. Sade, forever my lady (and band), and Stronger Than Pride is an absolute vibe. Tell us why you chose this song. “Jealousy” Having been featured on "Girlfriends" and having the highest amount of plays out of all of my songs, one could probably say this is my most successful song. But personally, this was the first song I wrote that I actually wanted to share. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment has to be, as a background singer for Blackalicious, performing in front of 10K at Key Arena and feeling all the love from the crowd. That was the moment I realized, "I can actually do this!" Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Still holding out hope for a Sade/Damumalik collab.
