About Damon Wood's Harmonious Junk

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I recall going to an Ozzy Osbourne concert at the Thomas and Mack Center, in Las Vegas around 1986. Motley Crue opened the show. I believe it was a year or two after Randy Rhoads died. We had a great time and were hooked on concerts after that. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Frank Zappa, Joe's Garage: Acts I, II & III Led Zeppelin, Physical Graffiti (Remastered) The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Electric Ladyland Frank Zappa is one of my favorite musicians and Joe's Garage is both brilliant and hilarious. Jimi Hendrix was the greatest guitar player that ever lived, if you ask me. This was his greatest work. This Zeppelin album is a peak performance for them. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “My Friend and Me” I wrote this when I was a member of James Brown's band, The Soul Generals. It's about the group and the relationships we have as musicians. You become family on the road. This song talks about those connections and features Fred Thomas on vocals. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was on tour with James Brown in Sapporo, Japan in 2003. I worked out a flying kick the night before the last show in an attempt to surprise and entertain the boss. It worked out great and he gave me a high five onstage. Then it was in the show. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to keep writing and performing. I still have many musical questions to pose and attempt to answer and much to say regarding society and the world we live in. I also enjoy writing stuff that makes me laugh, hopefully it does for others.
