Inspired by the likes of Louie Vega, Black Coffee, Jimpster and Andy Compton, this Polokwane DJ has tuned his ingenious ear and intuition to the zeitgeist, predicting and delivering what club kids are going to beg for next. His richly layered, atmospheric production style has helped land him several major milestone singles over the past few years—including “Found You”, featuring Afrosoul star Berita; the sinuous “Speed of Sound”, his collab with Congolese crooner Tresor; as well as “Take It All”, a track co-powered by GoodLuck. Predictably, the Soul Candi and House Afrika affiliate’s 2017 LP Indigo Child caused mayhem on the charts.
