In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We did a performance we didn’t know was being recorded. For some reason we were able to listen to it together, and we collectively realized that our sound was unique and needed to be captured. We began recording shortly after that performance. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A Special Blend, Nowhere But Up Fred Hammond, Radical for Christ, Pages of Life - Chapters I & II Karen Clark Sheard, Finally Karen Nowhere But Up - This album was life-altering Pages of Life - The songs were both memorable and powerful Finally Karen - That album was the first time I can remember hearing someone singing gospel with such an eclectic approach Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Take My Life” What makes this song special is how it came to be and what it represents to us collectively. We added a line from the hymn to a song we rehearsed at the time, shortly after that, it became one of the first original arrangements we did as a group. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Most memorable moment for us was when we transformed into a wedding band and provided music for the weddings of 2 of our members. Those performances gave us the opportunity to test our versatility and present songs from some of our favorite artists. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes! Releasing our full album and doing a performance with all the featured artists is top of the list
