In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my aunty putting the mic on my hand at six years old. She was the church children's choir director at Bethany SDA in Miami, FL. The rest was history I fell in love with singing since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? 6LACK, FREE 6LACK John Mayer, Continuum The Weeknd, Trilogy John Mayer is my favorite songwriter and his lyricism is unmatched in my opinion. Free 6lack album matched what I was envisioning a lot of songs I wrote. The Weeknd's Trilogy, I love how different his approach to R&B was and it's dark tones. I wanted to bring elements of my Haitian culture into an Afrobeats record. Also, I'm not ashamed of celebrating my queen so I created this fun record for others to honor their queens as well. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The release party of my debut single "Queen" was definitely a special night for me. To see everyone come together to enjoy a special song to me was the biggest honor. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I'm just getting started and I'm looking forward to build lasting relationships and connect with people on a deeper level. I hope that my music can do just that for as many people as possible.
