In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 9 years old, I visited the recording studio where my father was recording one of his albums. I'll never forget being immersed in the musical landscape, fascinated by both the performance and production of music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? E.S. Posthumus, Unearthed James Newton Howard, Waterworld (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Purity Ring, Shrines I love soundtracks and orchestral compositions and the Waterworld OST embodies the golden age of adventurous cinema music. Unearthed by E.S. Posthumus is a modern orchestral epic powerhouse. And Purity Ring is always a spiritual electronic journey. Tell us why you chose this song. “Airship” This track embodies the moment where I could say that the sense of magical whimsy and powerful thematic drive I strived to achieve when growing up (melding together orchestral and modern electronic) was expressed in harmony. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When I won a national songwriting contest for an orchestral/soundtrack composition and got the opportunity to perform it live in front of some of my musical influences and other industry greats. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to one day write the soundtrack to a feature film. The ultimate goal is to receive an Oscar or a Game Award for my music... but I would be more than happy just to have the opportunity to write for a feature film or AAA game title.
