About Catherine Corona

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 5 and walking in a North Woods wilderness forest, I looked up through the canopy of trees and saw the night sky, on a a sunshiny day. There I heard the starts singing to one another and knew the Universe was made of sound and and love. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Florence + the Machine, How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful Maria Callas, The Very Best of Maria Callas The Cranberries, Stars: The Best of the Cranberries 1992-2002 My favorite artists to listen to have the most transcendent voices and sing about the beauty of life in all its facets. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Amen” My song "Amen" came when I needed the company of beauty and light. Amen means, "So Be it" meaning utter acceptance and in that ineffable acceptance I felt freedom at that time I was dealing with cancer and the docs wouldn't listen but the song did.. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moments is learning about The Sound Current both from the spiritual teacher, John-Roger, Sawan Singh and the Sufi Teacher Rashad Field. Listenings to the Celestial Melolide, the Nad, the Nam, is where my melodies exist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? On my bucket list is to go to the West of Ireland and learn some Irish folks songs and maybe even learn a couple in The Irish itself. That would be dream realized. I'd love to bring my show on the road along with sacred practices woven within--magic!
