Catchfire

In the artist’s words: Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Elevator Kisses” This song is our most recent release, and it was just a great time to create! It started out as a joke while waiting for an elevator in a Nashville parking garage, but the melody that Maddy sang stuck in our heads, and we knew we had to finish it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? How Catchfire got its name is a great tale. Maddy worked at a bakery, and while at work, the toaster had a flare up and caught fire. Once it went out she said, “damn that thing was catching fire,” and it was then that the band name clicked. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Lots of things on the bucket list. We hope to collaborate with other local artists, play with some legendary acts like AC/DC, Foo Fighters, etc., one day, and to pack out huge stadiums and other venues with as many fans as possible.
