About Caribbean Funk

Latin urban ensemble Caribbean Funk was formed by Cuban-born MC A.T. Molina who was previously participating in a band called Agents 808 and became a tropical music producer soon after. After issuing a remix of the Latin dance/pop hit "La Bomba," Caribbean Funk made its self-titled debut album. The album was released in September of 2001 by Sony Discos, covering Blondie's "The Tide Is High" and Musical Youth's "Pass the Dutchie," among other songs. ~ Drago Bonacich
