By the time the Toronto band Bunny released their eponymous first album in 2017, they had been playing together on and off under that name for seven years. Comprising vocalist/guitarist Drew Smith and bassist Andrew Scott -- two members of Toronto-based indie pop greats the Bicycles -- plus guitarist Jordan Howard of I Am Robot and Proud, synth player Dan Werb of Woodhands, and Comet Control's Jay Anderson on drums, Bunny called on a wide range of friends and colleagues when the time came to make their debut on record. The U.K. label Tin Angel released Bunny in August 2017. ~ Tim Sendra
