In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I grew up in a musical home - my room played Heavy Metal, my sister's played British Rock, and the living room had MPB. My diverse exposure led me to develop a passion for music and composing after learning guitar and drums. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Prince & The Revolution, Purple Rain The Beach Boys, Pet Sounds The Beatles, Revolver These three albums form the foundation of my music taste. Their innovation, simplicity, and emotional connection with me make them some of my favorite albums of all time. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “O Silêncio Que Ouço” This was the first song I wrote when I decided to enjoy the act of making music. Is was special for me. It was the confirmation that I needed to move forward and keep creating music that I would love to listen. It was the beginning of everything. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The fact that I was able to create my first solo album completely on my own at 40 years old is a great achievement. Though I had been part of bands previously, I had never had the chance to release an album of my own. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I make music to capture my emotions and share them with others. Although I enjoy creating music on my own, I would love to break out of my comfort zone and perform live concerts, so that people can get to know me better.
