Tell us why you chose this song. “Hollow of the Sun” Hollow of the Sun was recorded on a trip to John Keane's studio in Athens, GA. The lyrics recount the tragic tale of the 1972 flood at Buffalo Creek in Saunders, WV. Hollow of the Sun is the first single released by the Brotherhood of Trees in 2022. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We drove through a blinding snow storm to reach John Keane's Studio in Athens, GA. Vehicles were strewn everywhere down I-95 South. The moment we started laying down tracks and listening back, we knew we'd discovered a special relationship. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Brotherhood of Trees will release it's first full-length album, Roots & Trees in May 2023. Produced by John Keane and Johnny Irion. Featuring Randall Bramblett on piano and B3 Hammond organ, and Johnny Irion on vocals and guitars.
