In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I started writing songs in the 7th grade after my teacher, who was also a musician encouraged me to write about the traumas I experienced with bullying. Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Etta Bond, He's Mine Sade, Stronger Than Pride Selena, Dreaming Of You 1. Etta Bond - "He's Mine" She is a hidden gem in the UK R&B scene. 2. Sade - "Stronger Than Pride" I can listen to this album without skipping a song. 3. Selena - "Dreaming Of You" One of my favorite albums from my idol and main inspiration. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let You Go” I originally wrote Let You Go as a way to cope with a messy breakup with a difficult and toxic ex-boyfriend. I poured all my hurt and pain into the record. I hope you can relate to the song and in turn, let go just as I did.
