In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young girl in ballet class, I first made the connection between melody and physical emotion. III MUNA, MUNA Yola, Stand For Myself After listening to this Haim album for the first time, I remember saying, "It's giving new wave Sheryl Crow!" Yola's sound is chef's kiss. Recently, I wrote a song for a mother with stage IV cancer to her 5 and 7 year old for when she passes away. It was all the things she doesn't want them to forget...how much she loves them, to be kind, to be brave. I will never forget that. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. All of it. And then I want to do it all over again.
