About Bonner Black

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As a young girl in ballet class, I first made the connection between melody and physical emotion. Without a single word, just a particular pattern of notes can make your heart race, your stomach drop, and your eyes water. That's what drew me in. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? HAIM, Women In Music Pt. III MUNA, MUNA Yola, Stand For Myself After listening to this Haim album for the first time, I remember saying, "It's giving new wave Sheryl Crow!" Yola's sound is chef's kiss. She's classic and retro, but also fresh and sparkly. MAGIC! I saw Muna play in Nashville and my mind was blown. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Love Looks (Never Going Back)” The perfect song for shaking your butt and unloading the dishwasher What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recently, I wrote a song for a mother with stage IV cancer to her 5 and 7 year old for when she passes away. It was all the things she doesn't want them to much she loves them, to be kind, to be brave. I will never forget that. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Everything. All of it. And then I want to do it all over again.
