Bones in the Walls

About Bones in the Walls

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father brought home from a pawn shop a strat for my brother and a bass guitar for me. I was a tiny teenager and the bass dwarfed me and its amp was too heavy for me to lift. I'd later swap to drums, and our 80s cover band would tour the state. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Hole” This song captures so many personal struggles of my life into one song. Verses may bathe the ideas in metaphor, but the choruses bring home clearly the final destination: "I black hole my heart, you needed a villain and I'm playing the part." What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? After a Christmas radio special, and also after releasing our first album, songwriters from Calexico, Xixa, and Ruen Brothers direct messaged and complimented our song. Praise from artists of that caliber was some of the most exciting moments
