In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Our first practices as a band, in spring 2022, were in a park near Davisville subway station in Toronto. It was at this point that we realized we needed to take an upbeat approach with our songs. And so our "t r o p i c a l rock" style was born. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Incubus, Morning View Phoenix, It's Never Been Like That Wilco, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot We have too many favourites to mention, but here's our attempt to summarize: Wilco's clever songwriting. Incubus' energy. Phoenix's third album, with its heartfelt European attitude, was in constant rotation in high school for singer Vincent Teetsov. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “If You Want” "If You Want" is, in effect, the main song of our band. It's a love song. It's an invitation to sing, dance, and be yourself. It's also the official theme song for Pumpkin & Stretch, the children's book brand created by singer Vincent Teetsov. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Before we released our first single ("Heard"), somehow its demo and the one for "If You Want" both leaked out as we tried to book shows. These songs ended up on two separate CBC Radio stations. We were surprised, honoured, and took it as a good sign. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To print our LP on vinyl. To perform in Mexico and Brasil (where an escola de samba will come out on stage). To do a tour in Japan. To keep playing music for the rest of our lives :)
